ABOUT HIS LAST MILE

Dan Clifton is a young athlete who has been at the top of the school and a successful sportsman for years has his world changed when his past catches up with him and he is kidnapped by a serial killer. The serial killer has been killing all of the people that are close to the athlete, out of revenge for breaking his numerous running records that have stood for a number of years. He has also taken the person he loves. The local police department have worked tirelessly to catch this serial killer and the investigation is lead by a stubborn determined detective, Detective Wright. Weeks into the investigation the detective's son is murdered by the serial killer. The police chief, Chief Jones takes him off the case as he is too emotionally close. However he will stop at nothing to catch the killer even if it jeopardises his job. When the young athlete is kidnapped his girlfriend, Kit Greenway is sent a recording of the boy explaining his past and is sent a location. Whilst this is happening Detective Wright figures out the location and who the identity of the final target.
